The Livermore Valley Charter School is a public school. There are no tests or fees involved
in applying.
Open Enrollment begins in January of each school year. If you are interested in applying for admission for the current school year, please fill out the Enrollment Form and return it to the office.
Each year, a new student wait list will be established that will overrides the current wait list. Those prospective students on the waiting list for the previous school year will need to reapply for the upcoming school year.
Currently there is a waiting list in all grades for the 2008-2009 school year.

Information >Drop Off & Pick Up
Drop Off
All students will be dropped off in front of the school. The staff parking lot will no longer be the designated drop off area for middle school. Students in grades 1 - 8 will walk through the front doors and to the appropriate black top area (elementary or middle school). Students may also be dropped off on Wall street behind the school. Kindergartners will go directly to the Kindergarten playground at the front of the school.
Dismissal Procedure
Parents are welcome to meet their children at their classroom at the end of the day. Please do not enter the hallways until the bell rings.
Pick Up
Students are to wait with their siblings at their youngest siblings assigned waiting place. For example, if a family has a sixth grader, a third grader, and a first grader; they would meet and wait together in front of the school.
Students may NOT wait for pick up on the corner of Sonoma and Sonoma Court.
Kindergarten
children will be ready for pick-up at 12:10pm from their classroom door. If your child will be going to Dragon Zone, their Dragon Zone teacher will picku your child at their door and take them to Room 1 for lunch.
Grades 1 - 3
pick up will be in the front of the school.
Grades 4 - 5 pick up will be on Wall Street. Students will walk across the sports field and through the gate to Wall Street.
Middle School pick up will be in the front of the school.
Rainy Day Drop Off
All students will be dropped off in the front of the school.
Rainy Day Pickup Procedures
Kindergarten pick up will run as usual.
1st and 2nd grade will wait in the MPR. 1st and 2nd grade parents should turn into the east parking lot (map). 1st graders will exit the northeast doors and 2nd graders will exit the southeast doors.
3rd grade will exit through the front doors of the school.
4th and 5th grade will be picked up in the staff parking lot (map) and will wait under the overhang.
6th - 8th grade will have regular pick up.
*We are requesting every parent keep a sign in their car with their children's last name, and teacher(s) name clearly printed in large block letters. If you pick up additional children please have signs available for them. When you come to pick up please have the signs visible to the supervising adults to speed up the process. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
