Student Admissions:

LVCS is an exciting, vibrant school that offers a rigorous, student centered curriculum.  We are happy that you are looking at LVCS for your child.  As a school of choice, LVCS wants to encourage you to use the application process as an opportunity to evaluate and decide if LVCS is the right school for your family!

Preference for enrollment shall be given in order of priority according to LVCS charter as follows:  LVCS shall admit all students who wish to enroll in the School subject only to capacity. If there are more applicants than capacity, at any grade level, admission to LVCS, except for returning students to the School shall be determined by a random public drawing (lottery). 

Preference for enrollment shall be given in order of priority according to LVCS charter as follows:

1) Students returning from the previous year.
2) Siblings of currently enrolled students in LVCS
3) Children of the faculty of LVCS (not to exceed 10% of the population)
4) Residents of areas served by the LVJUSD
5) Other California residents

The Lottery for the 2013-2014 school year took place on February 19th and the results were posted on February 25th.  If you would like to be placed on our waiting list please print an Enrollment Form for each student and return to the office by mail or hand delivery. Faxed or emailed applications will NOT be accepted.  An incomplete application will not be added to the wait list.
