Yoga is not just stretching and relaxation. Studies show that the yoga postures, breath work and learning meditation have a positive effect on children’s nervous systems and help them cope with life’s challenges. Yoga also improves muscle strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular health in children and adolescents. Young people can experience a significant improvement in psychological health when yoga is practiced regularly. Yoga enhances stress resilience and fosters mind-body awareness, which leads to positive lifestyle choices. What more could a parent ask for??
