Tara Aderman - Front Office - Principal

Principal Tara Aderman earned her Administrative Credential in 2007. She has eight years teaching experience and was recognized as the 2005 Teacher of the Year in Monterey County. Mrs. Aderman spent many years as Adjunct Site Faculty member with the Cal State teach program mentoring new teachers and is a certified Tribes trainer. She earned her Masters degree in Curriculum and Education and is looking forward to completing her Ed.D in School Administration. Mrs. Aderman has been invited to present at national, state and local conferences and has had various journal articles published.

Mike Waechter - Front Office - Vice Principal

Vice Principal Michael Waechter has been in education since 1996. Eleven years teaching a varitey of subjects from Science, to Literature, to Woodshop, but spent most of time teaching middle school mathematics. Since leaving the classroom, he has been in the position of Vice Principal at LVCS for the past 2 1/2 years. He has a BA in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Mathematics from University of the Pacific and completed his administrative credential requirements through National University.

Bill Batchelor - Sonoma Office

Chief Operating Officer Bill Batchelor holds a bachelor's degree in Finance Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He has fourteen years experience in financial planning. He lives in Livermore with his wife Susie and their four children, one at LVCS (a third grader). He is also the head coach of several youth sports teams, including a recent championship football team.

Linda Eschen - Library

Linda grew up in San Leandro, California and graduated from Moreau High School in Hayward. She worked for the State of California, Department of Real Estate, in San Francisco, for several years in the Legal Dept. She then worked in Escrow for many years in the Tri-Valley until her oldest son was born. She then retired from the work force to raise three boys and one daughter. Linda is currently taking on-line library classes at Cuesta in San Luis Obispo. She enjoys cooking, reading, crochet and calligraphy in her spare time.

Kristen Aguilera - Room 30 - School Psychologist

Kristin has worked as a School Psychologist for the Antioch Unified School District before joining the LVCS staff. She received here BA degree in psychology from California State University, Fullerton. She earned an MA and an Educational Specialist degree from Chapman University in Orange, California. Kristin is very happy to be a new member of the LVCS staff.

Sarah Johnson - Room 11 - K-5 Resource

Shari Lambert - Room 30 Office - Speech

Shari Lambert attended San Joaquin Delta College where she obtained an Associate of Science Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences as well as her Speech Language Assistant license. She attended CSU Sacramento where she worked at a child care facility with children ages 0-5 years while earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology.
Shari enjoys working with children and loves to make a difference in the lives of the families she serves.
Her interests include spending time with family, reading, and traveling. She has been a part of LVCS since 2010 and cherishes every moment of being a dragon!!
John Mahlstedt - Math Specialist

John has been a director of programs serving children in grades K-11 through the City of San Mateo Parks and Recreation Department since 2002. After experiencing how rewarding it was to work with children, he began to pursue a career in teaching. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Child Development from San Jose State University, and then enrolled in the Middle Level Emphasis credential program through SJSU College of Education. He received his multiple subjects credential this past May and looks forward to sharing his creativity and enthusiasm for learning math with his students.

Mary Wyosnick- Library - Reading Specialist

Mary received her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from the University of San Diego. She went on to get her Reading Specialist Credential and Masters in Reading from St. Mary's College in Moraga. She taught for a number of years in addition to supervising student teachers for St. Mary's College. Mary came to work at LVCS in 2006 as our reading specialist. Jannika Schakow - Front Office - School Counselor

Janni attends Holy Names University in Oakland, California where she is earning her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology. She has worked with children for several years as a clinical counseling associate and a mental health counselor at Seneca Center, a non-profit agency aimed at helping severely emotionally disturbed youth reach their potential. Prior to this she worked for the YWCA as a youth mentor to foster youth who were transitioning to independence. Janni started working at Livermore Valley Charter School as a counselor in January of 2011. She plans to remain at LVCS until she graduates from her Masters program at the end of the 2011/2012 school year.

Kim Admas - Dragon Zone Program Director

Kim Adams has been program director of the Dragon Zone childcare center since the spring of 2008. Kim excels at designing environments in which children can safely learn and explore. With over 20 years of experience educating and operating preschool/childcare centers as well as a degree in Creative Arts from San Jose State, Kim has a rare understanding of the ways in which children perceive and interact with their world. Kim owns and operates a preschool in Palo Alto. Kim has led workshops and trainings on creativity and curriculum both locally and nationally and is an early childhood development mentor teacher.
Kim has enjoyed being an active member of the LVCS parent community from its beginning. Kim identifies herself first as a mother, and uses what she has learned as a mom to partner effectively with families and the community.
Lena Barta - Dragon Zone Site Supervisor

Lena Barta is the Dragon Zone Site Supervisor, which keeps her busy inside the classroom and out. Lena has been in the child development field since 1999 and has loved every minute of it. Something special Lena brings to D.Z. would be her love and affection towards kids. Children and adults alike respond well to Lena’s kind and gentle spirit. Lena is currently enrolled at Las Positas College and is finishing her classes in Child Development Supervision and Administration. Lena lived in Livermore for ten years and recently moved to Tracy. Lena is happily married and enjoys being a mother of a teenager. She has 2 pet Chihuahua’s named Sweetie and Noname. Her hobbies and interests include shopping, hiking and spending quality time with her family.
